ending in .uk. The company was established in 1996 and is recognised by the UK
internet community as the official manager of the .uk Top Level Domain (TLD).
Just as Companies House holds authoritative records for company names, or the
DVLA for driving licences, Nominet maintains the database of .uk registered
internet names and only Nominet UK members with tag-holder status can register
domain names in the .uk TLD on behalf of clients through the services provided
us by Nominet UK. Our Nominet UK Tag for domain name registration services is
"Techno-Web" and all domain names registered or transfered to us will contain
our tag information. Domain names in the .uk TLD can only be registered and
renewed for 2 year periods at a time.
